Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit

Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) is a whole house ventilation system that extracts warm, moist air from rooms such as kitchens and bathrooms, recovers upto 95% of the heat and then uses this to pre-warm fresh air for distribution throughout the house via a concealed duct system.

It replaces more traditional energy inefficient ventilation methods such as purge ventilation (opening doors and windows) and noisy extractor fans. It is a recognised ventilation methodology (System 4) in ADF:2010 and a proven low energy and highly efficient way of ventilating.
