8KW NIBE ASHP Installation Complete with New Radiators and Bespoke Cylinder, Near Bury-St-Edmunds, Suffolk

Background

We were contacted in February 2020 from a lovely couple Nr Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk who lived in a a beautiful bungalow with cavity wall and loft insulation. They had an old old oil boiler and radiators. Knowing the boiler was showing signs of aging they were interested in pursuing a more green way to heat their home.

The Solution

Based on the information provided by our customer, we specified a 8KW NIBE system with a 150L cylinder to meet all their heating and hot water needs. We assisted the customer in applying for a new EPC certificate. With this we could also predict some realistic figures around the Renewable Heating Incentive.

Once the customer was happy with our approach we carried out a full heatless and technical survey to ensure our proposal met the MCS guidelines.

Our customer has also applied for the RHI and are now expected to be £7,000 a year and the conversion to low carbon heating is saving £12,937 per year!

The installation was completed in 6 days by our NIBE trained and approved engineer, our heating engineer and apprentice.
